feature code doesn't work
Hi IBM Colleagues,
it seems the feature code to extend the trial account doesn't work for me anymore; I believe I know why but I don't know how to fix it, hence perhaps you can help here.
Initially I've created the trial account on another email address then the one which I am using for edx; account has expired and feature code does not work saying server error; then I've remembered that I had a previous ibm cloud account linked to the same email address I am using for edx; I've recovered the password from the ibm cloud account mentioned, feature code worked but the activation offset the total number of days passed from the existance of the account...-1900 something days.
Can you help on this topic please ? I am guessing the feature code is not exhausted and it doesn't work for the newly account created (pointing to an email address which is not linked with edx).

Florin, sorry you are having issues applying the feature code to extend your trial account. There are a couple of very important points one has to know about feature codes:
1. Feature Codes can only be used to extend TRIAL accounts and can not be used to extend any other account type
2. Once a trial account has expired, it can't be extended using a feature code
Our team (IBM Skills Network) does not have any insight or influence over accounts and feature codes. We are relying on the goodwill of the IBM Cloud to provide these things to our learners without charge. My recommendation to you would be to try to register for a new TRIAL account with a different email.
PS. IBM Cloud is working hard to streamline the process of providing free cloud usage to our learners. We just need to be patient for a little bit longer. Stay tuned.
