"This code can't be applied right now. Try again later." when applying IBM Cloud offer

IBM Cloud feature codes can only be applied to IBM Cloud Trial accounts.

In case you are seeing an error like the one below when trying to apply the code:
"This code can't be applied right now. Try again later."

Please verify that your Account type is Trial on the Account settings page as shown in the image below.


If you have a Pay-As-You-Go, or Subscription or any other account type, such as in the example below, the code will NOT apply.



If your account is not a Trial account, in order to apply the feature code you will need to:

  1. Log out of your current account (if you are already logged in), and
  2. Sign up for a new IBM Cloud Trial account with a different email address to take advantage of this offer.
