Changing Badge email ID
Please note: We cannot change the e-mail a badge was issued to. This is due to global privacy legislation's and rules we must follow, as well as a security measure taken by Acclaim using Blockchain technology. Our records are tied to the e-mail address that is used at the time a badge is earned and awarded, and any change requests would need to be received by that e-mail in order for us to validate the request. Once a badge is accepted, we cannot change the e-mail address. However, there may be other options you can choose:
e-mail change - Acclaim Account:
Your account on Acclaim is totally separate from your e-mail account, although you might have used your e-mail address to be your Acclaim user ID when you initially set it up.
- If
you still remember the password to your Acclaim account, then you will
be able to access that account on Acclaim. If so, we recommend you add
your new e-mail as a secondary e-mail account (or vice-versa) as
follows: https://support.youracclaim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021220951-Can-I-add-multiple-emails-to-my-Acclaim-account-
- If
you do not remember the password to your Acclaim account, but can still
get into your previous e-mail account, then you should request Acclaim
to change the password for you and the password will be sent to that
e-mail: https://support.youracclaim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020963832-How-do-I-change-my-password-
- If
you forgot your Acclaim password and do not have access to your old
e-mail account, you can look for your account in Acclaim and, provided
your Acclaim profile and badge visibility were set up for 'Public'
visibility, you will be able to see your badges. Simply use the
following URL and replace with your first and last name where indicated.
https://www.youracclaim.com/users/Firstname-Lastname (Example: https://www.youracclaim.com/users/jane-doe) Also, if you shared your badge on any social media sites, that record would also still exist.
