  1. Subtitles below the video- instead of adjoining the video

    Contrary to convention, subtitles in this MOOC, are adjoining the video. It becomes very distracting and against the nature- to look at the subtitle and the video. Pls correct this

  5. Alternative Status Verification of Disability When Uploading Is Inherent Not Possible For A Course User To Prove His Disability

    Talk to Congress, the Senate, and The President....Disability Status verification, if the user being a Veteran, is not able to provide the information, how could there be other ways to even at tempting to preserve the identity of the course taker, who has very much believe he is a Disabled Veteran? I am referring to the need of making options available in the events, if a DD214 or just a Veteran Affairs benefits letter identifying service-connection, or where there is no service-connection, and letter from the immediate doctors of the Veteran could well be upload, but the point here is…

  8. Review question 2 for YARN architecture is wrong.

    In the Third question states Resource Manager is one for application and ends at the application end. and this is not true. This role is assigned to Resource Master. I answered false and I am right, but the course considered my answer as wrong and I lost my point in the score....

    The video of 'Data Frames' in Module 2 of course R101 (https://courses.cognitiveclass.ai/courses/course-v1:BigDataUniversity+RP0101EN+2016/courseware/76d637cbe8024e509dc445df847e6c3a/87a6f38e1c6f407b86a1aabbb5e326c2/) is having the incorrect syntax of using Data Frames(it is missing stringsAsFactors=F) which gives warning for adding a new row in R 3.4.1 on Windows(Warning message: In [&lt;-.factor(*tmp*, ri, value = "Dr. StrangeLove") : invalid factor level, NA generated) and adds a row like this to the data frame( <NA> 1964 94)

  14. Check autocorrect in the transcripts

    Whatever is used to spellcheck the transcripts must not recognize the word "bitcoin". In the transcript for Bitcoin 101, there are references to "big corn" and "big Korean network".

    The course is too passive for the learner. I don't have to do anything other than answer quiz questions. Even the labs have all the answers typed out. Is this intentional?

  17. Graded Review Questions are not related to the Module

    Hi,

    Just finished Graded Review Questions of Python 101 / Module 2 - Python Data Structures I.
    Found that these questions are not covered by what's discussed in the module.
    No sure if this is designed purposely.

    In my personal opinion, it would be good that those questions are related and can be used as a review of what's learnt.

  18. dynamics and modulation

    My general observation is on the voice overs reading the script., It sounds too mechanical, a subject matter expert when teaching will modulate concepts better, in a way students can remember by remembering their voice or dynamics. The voice that is reading the transcripts lacks dynamics and the human element. Its too mechanical. Can be improved for better.

    On the video "Data Science Hands on with Open source Tools - Creating an account" the captions do not line up with the audio. The transcript contains the text:
    To change your profile settings, toggle the account button on the bottom left corner. Change your settings and click Save.
    This does not occur in the audio of the video.
