improve Data Science 101 - Module 1
None of the links to the reading material actually work, I tried the links for Modules 1, 2 and 3. One of the discussion topic responses in Module 1 suggests a link to Google where a sample Chapter 6 of the book is available, but the Review Questions require answers from other Chapters, e.g. the question re Walmart is not in Chapter 6 but in Chapter 1. The selection of answers to the New York Times question do not match the actual article from April 2015 (can easily be found using Google).
Overall I'd say this course is a disappointment…1 vote -
Use a Spellchecker Before Publication
In "Data Science Methodology", there are too many grammatical errors and answer errors in the reviews and exam for me to type out.
Before a class is published online, it should have at least passed a basic spell and grammar check. It looks unprofessional.
My suggestion is:
Use a spellchecker before you upload it online. Also, at least one person should go through the reviews and exams to check if everything "looks" okay.
I wanted this course to be supplemental material for my students. But the way it is now, I cannot suggest "Data Science Methodology" to them.

Use Open Source Software for Predictive Modeling Fundamentals I course
All the software needed in previous courses was open software or was free available for different platforms. In this course I find I must download a Windows or Mac version which does not work in my Linux machine, so I should install it in a VMBox. In addition, when I want to use it in the future to explore it and improve my knowledge about Data Mining I will have to pay for the SPSS Modeler.
Despite of it, I find these courses really interesting, congrats for the project, it is a good way to introduce yourself in the Data…

Module 5 in Data Privacy Fundamentals
I don't understand what the Review Questions in Module 5: Analyzing Hacked Passwords in R had to do with the subject matter of the Module. The first question asks which programming language is best for text analytics. R isn't even an option. It makes no sense. It wasn't covered in the module. Why even ask that?

Allow labs to be done on cloud instead of VMware images
It would be great if I can perform hands-on-labs for Hadoop related courses on the cloud rather than have to download huge VMware images.

provide answers to the blanks in the slide presentations in the labs
I have completed the first 3 modules of Data Science Methodology. The only resource I can find in these labs is what seems like a PowerPoint presentation in pdf that is based on something, but the something seems to be missing. I intuitively answered all but one of the review questions, but I definitely feel I'm missing relevant information because it is not provided.

Session management
Hello,
New design of your website is just awesome and I appreciate your efforts. But I would like to draw your attention that session of your website is not working properly.
- After logging in, when I go to select the courses it redirects me to the login page showing that you are not logged in.
- Even when I go to update my profile the same is happening with me.
It is really very frustrating. Please do something. I understand this is a beta version so I am just trying to help you.Thank you

add an autoplay feature
It might be nice to 'autoplay' a module instead of having to click for the next video. Or possibly add a next arrow at the lower right of the video?
